The VA Western New York Healthcare System is an innovative care center within the Veterans Integrated Service Network 2 (VISN 2), which includes medical centers and clinics throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. With 11 locations including 2 medical centers and 9 community-based outpatient clinics, we provide outstanding health care, train America’s future health care providers, and conduct important medical research.

VA Western New York Healthcare System actively seeks to develop groundbreaking medical research to discover knowledge and advance health care for Veterans and the nation. The VA Western New York Healthcare System works in collaboration with the Buffalo Institute for Medical Research, Inc, the State University of New York at Buffalo, and over 75 other universities and professional schools.
